Elgin Vitale found a love of dance at the young age of 2 and hasn't stopped dancing since that day!!! She's no stranger to the Hampstead Community as she proudly represented Hampstead as the 2010 Spot Festival Queen. Ms.Elgin began taking her first class at Miss Becky's School of Dance in Wilmington, NC. She has not stopped dancing since and now has over 20 years of dance experience with 10 of those including competitive dance. She also studied dance at 5, 6, 7, 8 Dance, Danceworks and A Leap Above Dance Studio, all in Wilmington, NC. Ms.Elgin has studied jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, clogging, hip-hop, lyrical, modern and contemporary styles of dance. She has traveled across the East Cost performing, competing and taking classes. Her most recent performance included a spot in the 2013 North Carolina Dance Festival. She also studied for two years at the School of Theatre and Dance at East Carolina University before returning home to become a SeaHawk at UNCW. She graduated in 2014 with a major in Recreational Therapy. Ms. Elgin was married in 2014 and Sadie joined her, Adam and big brother Cole in 2015 and welcomed the newest member to their family in 2016!! Ms. Elgin teaches our company classes, and jazz, tap, ballet, pointe, preschool and hip hop classes!!
